Community Guidelines

These guidelines exist to keep Vora a place where creators feel safe, respected, and inspired. They apply to all content uploaded, all comments posted, and all interactions in chat rooms.

Be respectful

Treat everyone the way you'd want to be treated. Disagree with ideas, not people. Constructive criticism of someone's work is welcome — personal attacks are not.

Share original work

Upload videos that you created or have the right to share. Give credit when you remix or build on someone else's work. Don't claim others' creations as your own.

Keep it legal

Don't upload content that violates copyright, contains illegal material, or promotes harm. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance — immediate permanent ban)
  • Harassment, threats, or doxxing
  • Spam, scams, or deceptive content
  • Content that promotes violence or self-harm

Label your work honestly

Tag your videos with the tool you used. If you used a prompt, consider sharing it — the community learns from each other. Don't misrepresent AI-generated content as something it isn't.

Respect the platform

Don't game the system — engagement rings (mutual like/follow schemes), fake accounts, or automated spam will be detected and penalized. The algorithm rewards genuine engagement, not manipulation.

Use chat rooms thoughtfully

Stay on topic in tool-specific rooms. Keep self-promotion reasonable — sharing your new video is fine, spamming every room with the same link isn't. Be helpful to newcomers.

Report, don't retaliate

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, use the report button or the feedback form. Don't engage in arguments or try to moderate on your own. Our moderation team will handle it.

What happens if guidelines are violated?

We use a trust-tier system:

Notice

Content removed, private notice sent.

Flagged

Account flagged, reduced visibility.

Suspended

Account suspended for serious or repeated violations.

Banned

Immediate permanent ban for illegal content. Reported to authorities if required.

You can appeal moderation decisions through the appeals system on your profile page.

These guidelines will evolve

As the community grows, we'll update these guidelines based on what we learn. Major changes will be announced in the Platform Updates section of Governance, with a comment period before they take effect.
