Terms of Service

Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vora ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old to register. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@vora.dev if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Vora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the above license and that your User Content does not infringe or violate any third-party rights.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Platform provides tools to generate video content using artificial intelligence ("AI-Generated Content"). Vora does not claim ownership or copyright over AI-Generated Content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, using, and distributing any AI-Generated Content you create through the Platform.

AI-Generated Content may be subject to the terms and conditions of the underlying AI model providers. You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms when using AI generation features.

5. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to upload, generate, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable law
  • Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
  • Constitutes harassment, bullying, threats, or incitement of violence
  • Contains spam, deceptive content, or commercial solicitation
  • Impersonates another person or entity
  • Infringes intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempts to circumvent moderation, rate limits, or fraud detection systems

Vora reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions, with or without notice.

6. DMCA Takedown Process

If you believe content on Vora infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent at dmca@vora.dev. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

If your content is removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notice containing the information required under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g). We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant and restore the content after 10 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Vora offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Vora to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. In the event of a billing dispute, contact us at billing@vora.dev.

8. API Usage

Vora provides a developer API subject to rate limits and acceptable use policies. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure and must not share them publicly. Abuse of the API, including exceeding rate limits, scraping, or using the API to circumvent Platform restrictions, may result in key revocation and account suspension.

API access is provided on an "as-is" basis. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue API access at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Moderation

All content on Vora is subject to human and automated moderation. We reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict any content at our sole discretion. Accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms or community guidelines may be suspended or permanently terminated.

Creators may appeal moderation decisions through the Platform's built-in appeals process. Appeals are reviewed by a different moderator or administrator.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VORA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VORA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
